The Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles is located in the heart of the capital of Europe.

Our university boasts 4 Faculties spanning the spectrum of human and social sciences and an Institute for European Studies. Together, they offer a broad range of Bachelor’s, Master’s and Specialised Master’s, Doctoral degree programmes, as well as numerous lifelong and executive courses that currently attract 4,000 students from over 70 countries. Our growth and diversification over the years has firmly established our reputation as one of Belgium’s main centres of excellence in human and social sciences.

This renown is not limited to teaching. Our academic staff are active in numerous national and international research networks, and the expertise of our seventeen Research Centres, which regularly host to international academics, is frequently sollicited by Regional, Federal, and international organisations.

Saint-Louis is located in Brussels, Belgium, in the city centre. It is one of the 6 French-speaking universities in Belgium, and is acknowledged and fully funded by the Belgian public authorities. It was founded in 1858. It is composed of four faculties (Faculty of Law ; Faculty of Philosophy, Language and Letters, and Human Sciences ; Faculty of Econonomics, Social and Political Sciences, and Communication ; Faculty of Translation and Interpreting), and 1 institute for European Studies. The university organizes 46 higher education programmes (BA, MA and PhD), for more than 4000 students.

In terms of research, it has 18 Research Centres and 3 interdisciplinary Research Institutes, and about 370 ongoing research projects.
