Ana Rita Sequeira is a lecturer and researcher at Murdoch University, graduated from the University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal (ISCTE-IUL), with research interests on Global Health and Public Health; health promotion and health policy; critical and interpretative approaches; development studies and how to translate research into practice, bringing together both community perspectives and policy towards health and social development. Besides her post- and under- graduate teaching and research collaborations, Ana’s professional experience also encompassed program management in humanitarian organisations in Mozambique, and applied research to inform public policy in Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia, and East-Timor.
