I am currently employed as a Senior Lecturer in Politics at York St John University. I have previously held positions at the University of Sheffield, the University of Liverpool, University of Leicester and the University of Winchester.
My current research interests are situated within British politics. I have published a Work exploring British elections, including the Police and Crime Commissioner Elections, the (UK) Labour Party and the 2007 Global Financial crisis.
