I have taught philosophy at the University of Liverpool since 2000. I am the author of _Divinity and Maximal Greatness_ (Abingdon: Routledge, 2005), and the co-author of _Christian Philosophy: A-Z_ (Edinburgh: Edinburgh University Press, 2006; with Randal D Rauser) and of _The Right to Wear Religious Symbols_ (Basingstoke: Palgrave Macmillan, 2013; with Daniel Whistler). My main interests are philosophy of religion, philosophy of law, philosophy of marriage, applied ethics, applied political philosophy, and philosophy of action. I am also interested in many legal topics: marriage law, canon law, constitutional law, criminal law, discrimination law, and the law of human rights. I am also the Chair of the Tyndale Fellowship's Study Group in Philosophy of Religion.
