David A. Fleming-Muñoz

Professor, La Trobe University

David is an applied economist with work experience in Chile, the United States, New Zealand and Australia. His main research areas are market and public policy challenges related to agricultural and resource economics, trade, energy transitions, climate change, resilience, and growth. David has published in various top applied economics and multidisciplinary journals, including Nature and the Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics.

David is Chilean (ergo, fluent in Spanish), married to Andrea and father of three very active kids (Rebeca, Alan and Oscar). When not researching, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, watching good movies, and running.
