I am an Economist working on labour and family economics.
I work on development of child skills, thinking about the how decisions of the the family and the state affect children. We know that family income is important for children, and my research has asked whether there's a period in childhood where income is most important and productive.
My research has asked how government policy for example on maternity leave reforms affects families.
Another area of research is youth unemployment where I have worked to understand the long-run consequences of a temporary and unexpected spell of unemployment whilst young.
