A native of Florida, Jillian completed her undergraduate degree in Minnesota, USA, and her graduate program in Victoria, Canada. She completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Sussex, and now works as an Assistant Professor at Oberlin College in Ohio. In her spare time, Jillian runs an outreach blog called Astroquizzical, which serves as a space for anyone to submit questions about the Universe.
