I am a senior lecturer at the University of New England in Armidale, where I work on the ecology, conservation and management of vertebrate fauna, mainly mammals. I have undertaken field work on a diversity of mammals in Canada, Australia and Bhutan, and have published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on this research. In 2010 I published a major book on Kangaroos.
