Laura is a lecturer in law at the University of Sydney and a barrister at the Victorian Bar. Her expertise is focused on the interdisciplinary intersections between science and law, particularly with respect to climate change, biodiversity governance, human habitat, and health. She has researched, advised and taught across these fields for the past twelve years.
Laura has a PhD in Law, a Master of Environment, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne. She has attended Oxford and Columbia Universities as a visiting scholar, sponsored by the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law. She is a member of the World Commission on Environmental Law and has volunteered as a legal advisor to the IUCN.
