Manuel S. Hubacher has an interdisciplinary background (political science and political philosophy) and is currently holding two positions. He is a research fellow at the Centre for Democracy Studies Aarau (ZDA) and a postdoctoral collaborator at the Albert Hirschman Centre on Democracy, IHEID. He is working on the theoretical foundations and the implementation of digital citizenship education, the role of arguing and judgment in civic education, and on the question of how civic education can be implemented in a cross-curricular way in the school context.
