Melissa Hardie

My most recent publication is a book I edited with Meaghan Morris and Kane Race, The Year's Work in Showgirls Studies (Indiana University Press, 2023). I recently published an article on the film Tar in Film Quarterly, and right now I am writing about closets for a book I will finish this year. My other project is about "novel objects" and I'm interested in the novel as a remediated form, and in objects. I have a special interest in queer and in critical theory, and in psychoanalysis.
