I am a PhD researcher in the School of English, Trinity College Dublin, where I use Critical Theory to write about representations of neoliberalism in contemporary Irish women's short fiction. My work is funded by the Irish Research Council and I am currently based in Trinity Long Room Hub Arts & Humanities Research Institute. In 2020, I co-founded the Contemporary Irish Literature research network where I am co-editor of our blog. More generally, I am also interested in political theory, gender studies, the intersection of politics and literature, and the novel form.
In 2019, I was awarded a Master's in Literature and Modernity from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in English Literature & History from Trinity College Dublin in 2018, where I was elected University Scholar in 2016.
