After graduating with a PhD in Finance from the London School of Economics and working as a faculty member at HEC Montreal, I am now part of the faculty of the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. In my current research, I use models based on agency theory to study corporate finance and governance issues. I am currently working on the structure of executive compensation, especially the time dimension of performance measurement and how additional measures of performance should be taken into account for incentive provision. This allows to study the efficiency of existing contracts, and to provide recommendations for the optimal design of executive compensation.
