Dr Raquel Peel is a Senior Lecturer at RMIT, an adjunct Senior Lecturer at UniSQ, and a research supervisor at UTS, with a decade of experience in teaching, research, and public engagement. She is also an internationally recognised relationships expert, who has delivered a TEDx talk on relationship sabotage, which was featured as one of the most popular talks in the TED series ‘How to Be a Better Human’ and TEDxShorts.
Her mission is to educate and empower people on how to build healthy and fulfilling relationships, as well as to raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental health and suicide. She is a prolific contributor for The Conversation and a frequent media commentator on relationship matters at national and international outlets. Her current research program encompasses studies on interpersonal relationships, mental health, suicide, and education.
