Dr Rosalind McDougall is a Research Fellow in Ethics in the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne. She is an ethicist with expertise in philosophical bioethics and qualitative research. Her work focuses on bioethical issues around parenthood and families.
Her current project is funded by an Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award, and addresses the question “when should health professionals override parents’ decisions about a child’s medical treatment?”.
