I am currently an ARC DECRA Fellow in the School of Science at the University of New South Wales in Canberra. From 2011-2014, I was Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and from 2014-2018 at the ANU. I was awarded my PhD in 2011 from The Australian National University.
My research investigates the links between recent extreme climate events and climate change. These types of research areas are useful for understanding the vulnerability of human and natural systems to potential future changes in climate and weather extremes.
